Norwegian melodic heavy metal band Invasion reached a major milestone in 2026 by winning Wacken Metal Battle Norway and representing the country at Wacken Open Air.
Formed in 2022, Invasion combines classic heavy metal and ’80s-inspired hard rock with modern production, massive choruses, vocal harmonies and high-energy live performances. The band has previously shared the stage with artists including Michael Schenker, Wig Wam, Tyketto and Mike Tramp’s White Lion.
Following the release of singles such as “Loaded Gun,” “Helldiver” and “Frostwing,” Invasion is now preparing its third studio album. The album marks the beginning of an ambitious new chapter for the band.
